Position Overview:
As a QA Engineer, you will be a crucial team member responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of our Shopify E-commerce projects. You will seamlessly navigate task and issue management software, such as ClickUp to conduct QA testing and act as the final gate keeper to ensure that we deliver the highest quality projects to our global client base. You will collaborate effectively with project managers, UI/UX designers, and both frontend and backend developers, taking ownership of projects from kick-off to launch.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, and frontend and backend developers to deliver pixel-perfect, error-free websites
- Take ownership of the project from kick-off to launch and understand all the functional requirements for effective testing by creating concise and comprehensive test cases
- Follow checklists for QA testing and expand on them as you go
- Record and organise bugs in QA lists and verify fixes
- Thorough design implementation testing (spacing, alignment, sizing etc.)
- Use browser testing tools and actual devices to cover all different screen sizes and devices
- Speed, technical SEO and accessibility (ADA) testing
- Become a Shopify expert and know the platform inside-out
- Availability to work and collaborate with team members across different timezones
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of QA experience in an agency environment (multiple projects)
- Using task and issue management software is your second nature (e.g. ClickUp, Asana, Jira)
- Experience in the technical and design aspect of manual website development testing
- Knowledge and experience in utilizing browser testing tools and actual devices to ensure comprehensive coverage across various screen sizes and devices
- Experience in creating and executing detailed and comprehensive test cases
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and address potential issues
- You are 100% responsible when it comes to following checklists and documenting bugs
- You have immense attention to detail, and you are not satisfied with suboptimal work quality
- Fluent in English and a great team player
Bonus Skills:
- Shopify experience (admin and/or code)
- Automated testing
- Project Management experience
- UI/UX design skills/experience
